Anne Eekhout (1981) is a Dutch novelist. She has written five novels, a young adult novella and a picture book.
The first four novels have been nominated for Dutch literary prizes. Her third novel, Nicolas and the Disappearance of the World, has been awarded with the Prize for Best Book for Young Adults.
Mary (Mary and the Birth of Frankenstein, Mary; or the Birth of Frankenstein) is Eekhout’s fourth novel and is (being) translated into fifteen different languages.
She lives in Utrecht, The Netherlands.
